The Blue Rose spent the weekend in Snoqualmie, Washington with a bunch of crazy Twin Peaks Fans. We had fun, hugged, laughed and did some good. We were able to raise $300 for the Catherine Coulson Welcome Fund. This was our first time helping out The Oregon Shakespeare Festival. We plan to continue to assist them as they carry on “The Log Lady’s” legacy.

The Red Room returns to Twin Peaks for parts 11-13. David Bushman, author of Twin Peaks FAQ and curator at the Paley Center, joins Scott and Josh for the talk. Topics include, Audrey, the use of nostalgia in The Return, editing and the purpose of the Owl Ring. For those of you who were angered by Scott’s complaint about the Log Lady editing from part 10, might be surprised at what his comments are now.

We have been waiting to release our cover of Issue #2 and we finally can. The main focus on Issue #2 is The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer written by Jennifer Lynch. We have an interview with Jennifer Lynch, an article about Laura’s life and struggles with abuse and cover the history of the diary and the new Audible release. Sheryl Lee reads the diary, so it made sense to have Sheryl Lee on the cover. We were able to have Sheryl Lee pose for a picture and she approved it for us.
